Background of the debate:
Poland is the European leader on the international transport market (with nearly 300,000 vehicles performing transport operations of this type). The importance of heavy transport in Poland is confirmed by the fact that every third load in the European Union is transported by a Polish carrier, and over 800,000 people are employed in the transport industry in our country.
The electrification of heavy road transport will be the main axis of experts' talks during the third panel of the MOVE Congress. The participants will focus also on the importance of all regulations regarding trucks, their use, price, availability, range and design, as these regulations will have a significant impact on the competitiveness of Polish transport companies.
