MOVE 2026 thematic forums
Investment Forum
The Investment Forum is a place for discussions on how to effectively attract and retain industrial investments in Poland in 2026. In conditions of global uncertainty, shortening supply chains and the growing role of local content, as well as increasing global competition between countries, investment decisions are less and less based solely on labour costs or access to grants. Regulatory stability, access to energy, infrastructure, skills and the predictability of the business environment are becoming key factors.
The forum will focus on foreign investment in industry. Discussions will centre on how Poland can leverage its location, industrial base, workforce and role in European supply chains to compete effectively for technology projects, and what strategic directions will shape the economic environment in the coming years.
An additional topic will be the role of the state and administration in the investment process. From the system of incentives and financial instruments, through access to investment areas and infrastructure, to the efficiency of administrative procedures. In 2026, it is the speed of decision-making, clarity of rules and cooperation with local governments that increasingly determine the location of new production plants and technology centres.
The Investment Forum will also be a place for discussions on private and institutional capital, the growing role of venture capital and private equity funds, and mechanisms for co-financing industrial projects. This perspective will be complemented by support programmes such as Innovate Poland, which aim to attract innovative companies and scale up the activities of foreign investors in Poland.
Heavy Transport and Infrastructure Forum
The transformation of heavy goods transport is one of the greatest climate and logistics challenges of this decade. The Heavy Transport and Infrastructure Forum focuses on the practical aspects of implementing zero-emission technologies in the HDV segment, which still accounts for a significant proportion of CO₂ emissions from road transport in Europe.
In 2026, the industry is operating in an environment of rapidly changing EU and national regulations, such as the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR), emission reduction targets, carbon footprint reporting, carbon credit mechanisms and EMS implementation. These regulations are increasingly determining not only the pace of fleet transformation, but also access to financing, contract terms and relationships with major customers. The forum will become a space where regulations will be translated into the realities of the operational activities of transport and logistics companies.
An important topic will be the role of ESG strategies, which are transforming from a reporting obligation into a tool for building competitive advantage. In market practice, more and more transport contracts in Europe are dependent on the carbon footprint of the fleet, and zero-emission lorries are becoming part of long-term business strategies, rather than just a PR exercise.
Discussions during the forum will focus on real-life experiences related to the implementation of zero-emission lorries – from investment planning and infrastructure development, through formal and technical challenges related to acceptance procedures, to the role of the energy sector, which in 2026 will become one of the key factors limiting or accelerating the transformation of heavy transport. It is precisely the availability of power, the stability of energy prices and the integration of infrastructure with the power system that increasingly determine the profitability and scale of implementations.
Dual Use Forum
The Dual Use Forum focuses on technologies that are used in both the civil and defence sectors. These are the technologies that in 2026 are increasingly becoming the foundation of national security, infrastructure resilience and technological independence. Contemporary conflicts, geopolitical instability and the growing importance of civil protection are blurring the line between civil and military solutions.
The forum will focus on the role of electromobility and energy storage in crisis response systems and disruption-resistant infrastructure. Electric vehicles and trucks equipped with bidirectional energy flow technologies (V2G, V2H) are increasingly seen not only as a means of transport, but also as mobile energy storage facilities capable of powering critical infrastructure, medical facilities and evacuation centres in emergency situations.
The Dual Use Forum will also focus on the use of trucks in crisis and defence logistics. We will discuss how zero-emission trucks, thanks to their ability to be powered independently of the power grid, e.g. from renewable energy sources, can become an invaluable tool for supporting the economy in times of crisis, and additionally, thanks to their - quiet operation, lower thermal signature and the ability to operate in confined spaces, they are gaining importance in military applications and civil protection.
A separate topic of the forum will be unmanned, autonomous and specialised vehicles, whose development in the civil sector – logistics, transport and energy – directly translates into defence applications. In 2026, these technologies will be one of the pillars of modern security systems, and their dual use will create both investment opportunities and regulatory challenges.
Battery Forum
The Battery Forum is a space for in-depth debate on one of the most strategic markets in the modern economy. In 2026, the battery market remains one of the key areas of global technological and investment competition, both in the context of electromobility and energy security.
During the forum, we will address issues related to the development of the battery market in Poland, Europe and worldwide, with particular emphasis on new investments, innovative technologies and regulations that have significantly changed the rules of the game in recent years. EU regulations on the carbon footprint of batteries, the mandatory use of recycled raw materials and the transparency of supply chains mean that manufacturers today have to think about batteries in a comprehensive way – from the extraction of raw materials to the end of the product life cycle.
A special place will be given to the topic of battery and accumulator recycling, which in 2026 will become not only a regulatory necessity but also a real investment opportunity. The limited availability of critical raw materials and the rising costs of obtaining them mean that Europe is increasingly focusing on the circular economy. From 2031, European battery manufacturers will be required to process a certain proportion of recycled metals, and Poland has a real chance to become one of the leaders in this market.
There will also be discussions about Battery Booster – the European Union's new strategy aimed at increasing the competitiveness of European battery cell and component production through financial instruments, investment support and protective measures against non-EU manufacturers.
The Battery Forum will also feature a discussion on the Polish supply chain. For years, Poland has remained one of the most important battery hubs in Europe, and the largest battery factory in the EU, located in our country, is just one element of an ecosystem that still has potential for expansion.
EV Solutions Stage
EV Solutions Stage is a stage dedicated to practical solutions that today determine the pace and scale of electromobility development. In 2026, charging infrastructure will cease to be solely a technical issue and will become a real element of the energy, transport and national security systems.
This means that its reliability, safety and cybersecurity will have a direct impact on transport continuity, energy supply stability and user safety.
That is why at EV Solutions Stage we will discuss the topic of safety in electromobility in a broad sense – from technical aspects and fire safety issues to regulatory requirements resulting from the National Cybersecurity System and EU regulations. In 2026, more and more operators and investors will have to take these issues into account at the investment design stage, as they affect acceptance processes, insurance and access to financing.
The stage will also be a venue for discussions on the integration of electromobility with renewable energy sources, energy storage systems (BESS) and smart power management. This approach not only optimises costs, but also increases the resilience of infrastructure to disruptions and overloads.
EV Solutions Stage will also feature discussions on the development of zero-emission fleets. In 2026, fleet electrification will cease to be a pilot project and become part of companies' long-term operational strategies. Discussions will focus on the real-life experiences of companies that are already facing the costs of transformation, infrastructure availability and energy management.
