The KEP industry is not only transport on the first and last mile, but also thousands of trucks moving on our roads every day. The ever-widening range of electrically powered vans available on the market and the progressive development of charging infrastructure allow for the implementation of a zero-emission vans fleet. I cordially invite you to the MOVE 2023 Congress and to listen to the discussion in the panel “Electrification of heavy road transport”

Respecting customers and understanding their aspirations, preferences and diversity is the foundation of Toyota's values. We do not propose a single energy transformation scenario for mobility. We provide a choice of technology, scale and rate of change

“The event touches on very topical issues related to the ongoing energy transition and Poland’s ambitions to achieve the set climate goals. Renewables play a key role in greening the national economy. The transition of companies to green energy is one of the main business trends. RES are today the answer to the current energy poverty and horrendously high energy prices, which have become a real barrier to development for business and industry as a whole. We will talk about “green” production during the crisis at the MOVE Congress. ”

MOVE - International Mobility Congress is a unique event. It is an opportunity to exchange experiences in the automotive and transport industries with the energy sector and local government. The Congress will be a platform for establishing connections between sectors, which is so much talked about today in the face of the EU policy of climate neutrality and minimising the carbon footprint. Key players in the industry will talk about their challenges and plans while confronting them with the challenges of energy transformation and electrification of transport. Investments based on green energy from RES are also a huge challenge for local governments and administration. It is worth meeting at one table and talking about the future at MOVE - International Mobility Congress.

We face many challenges, both those related to the energy and automotive sectors, as well as climate policy and security. The MOVE Congress is the perfect opportunity to discuss how to overcome these difficulties. During numerous panels we will discuss, among others, how to create conditions for environmentally friendly production of vehicles and parts, how to support the Polish economy in changing the energy mix or how to adapt to regulatory requirements in the field of climate policy.

The energy sector has changed tremendously over the last two decades since I started working there. Energy is the first sector of the economy to feel the need to change and adapt to the realities of the low/zero carbon economy. Other sectors face the same challenges: transport, agriculture, construction, etc. We need clean energy everywhere. The synergies that are being created today between energy and transport provide enormous opportunities. An example is the NesoBus project – hydrogen bus, developed jointly by ZE PAK Group and Polsat Plus

"When considering the future of transport in Poland, we must remember that it operates in an ecosystem of connections between different sectors of the economy. That is why meetings of this type, such as the MOVE Congress, are extremely important to enable us to talk about our shared responsibility for its shape. It is a good platform for multilateral discussions on the competitiveness of the Polish economy and for working out common solutions for its maintenance with representatives of key industries influencing Polish GDP. „

The energy transition will be a challenge for the entire transport industry in the coming decade. Companies that have the ambition to remain in the global supply chain will have to make ambitious investments and start offering low or zero-emission transport. In order to remain competitive in the market, you need to be prepared for this. Building the competencies of own organizations and investing in infrastructure is a process spread over the coming years. It is worth discussing how to design your individual pathways to reach the set emission reduction targets. The Move Congress is an ideal platform for sharing your experiences related to transformation.

As the Volkswagen Group, we are contributing to the consistent electrification of our model fleet. It is now important that policy objectives are backed up by appropriate policy measures in all Member States. In Poland, it is primarily a much faster development of the charging infrastructure and accelerated energy transformation. During the MOVE Congress, we will talk about the challenges and opportunities for Poland on the road to emission-free mobility. Definitely worth joining the discussion.

The automotive industry is undergoing a profound transformation, and over the next 5 years it will change more than it has changed in the last 50. Cars are devoid of their negative attributes, thanks to digitization and automation they become even safer, thanks to electrification they do not emit harmful emissions. The largest car brand in Europe – Volkswagen plans to achieve an 80 percent share of electric cars on the continent by 2030. In 2033 the brand plans to completely stop offering combustion cars in Europe. What does this change mean for Poland? Poland is today a very important, fifth-largest market in terms of registration of new passenger cars in the European Union. At the same time, it is also the 5th worst country in the Community in terms of the development of charging infrastructure, considering the number of points per 100 km of roads. We will discuss how to maintain Poland’s strong position on the automotive market in Europe and how to use the potential of the changing automotive industry for the environment, society and economy during the MOVE congress.

MOVE - International Mobility Congress is an excellent opportunity to talk to key players about the future of transport, not only individual but also professional, in the context of zero-emission mobility and ensuring adequate access to alternative fuel infrastructure. The stakes in this discussion are high, because with this change the landscape in the area of vehicle, parts and components production will change. In this situation, it becomes very important to maintain the current production in Poland, but also to attract new investors, and this is what we will talk about during the Congress.
